The beer bath

Beer extract is a natural remedy when the temperature and duration are correctly selected and the mixture is correctly dosed. This is also true when using brewer's yeast as a bathing additive.

Both clean and purify the organism through the skin pores. Showering after bathing in the tub cleanses the skin and promotes good hygiene. A cold shower or simply rinsing with clear cold water when finished bathing provides therapeutic affects.

Beer extract contains an abundance of the malt and hops ingredients used for bathing = hot and cool beer extract. The water concentration is approximately 80%. When calculating the dry substances, the following average values are found:

• 50 to 60 % protein
• 3 to 30 % mineral components
• 16 to 20 % hops resin
• 20 to 30 % other organic substances

Bathing with this beer extract can be effective against many inflammatory rheumatic afflictions, gout, certain skin diseases as well as poor circulations in the hands and feet. The skin becomes softer and more elastic and tissue metabolism is activated. In addition, beer extract reduces irritation and helps against eczema and itchiness when used regularly.

The hops bath

1000 ml of liquid beer hops in 1 full bathtub effectively helps against rough skin. This is even more important when used for rheumatic afflictions and sciatica (however, this requires some preparation time).

• Antioxidants such as ascorbic acid help cells to live longer, but natural antioxidants such as anthocyanogens, which are present is large amounts in Schnaitl "Premium Naturtrueb", are even better.
